In a half-empty hospital which is being decommissioned, Isabella and Eleonora, two adolescents with very different personalities, establish a symbiosis with Daniele, a mysterious 19-year-old: a unique relationship capable of crossing the boundary between illness, life and death. Together, they find out the truth about themselves, discover the extreme sacrifices of love and learn how cruel and wonderful it is to grow up, on a surreal journey that, over the course of a few intense days, frees each of them, making them, in their own way, an adult.
