Asian Ex

Thriller, Action

An ensemble piece whose characters hang in a precarious and sometimes unconscious balance, like Claudio, a bus driver involved against his will in illegal trafficking; Wang, an Asian teenager forced to emigrate illegally after killing a criminal; mysterious women with the charm of Audrey Hepburn, aspiring rally drivers, losers grappling with the chance of a lifetime and determined to fight for it despite everything. Characters who, though seemingly disparate, are united by the delicate thread of a chronologically fragmented plot linking places which, though very distant, are far from interchangeable, reflecting a world made uniform by business and money – except for the distinction between wealth on the one hand and poverty on the other…
