Saint Santo

Comedy

An American tycoon convinces a young Italian-American priest to return to his hometown in Piedmont, where as a child he was lucky enough to witness a miracle that triggered his vocation. The supposed purpose of the trip is to help Leon, the millionaire’s dissolute son, find his way. Once in the village, though, the priest discovers he has been deceived: on the orders of his father, Leon wants to buy the body of the local saint – Saint Santo – and take it, along with many other holy relics, to America to build a spectacular and profitable religious theme park…
